i-D Presents: Alex Noble

Friday 9th September
3PM – 6PM
i-D NOW
The Red Gallery

We’ve gone well and truly GAGA for Alex Noble at i-D and on Friday 9th September from 3PM one and all are invited to an illustrious evening of dreaming and drawing with the designer-cum-illustrator at the i-D NOW pop-up! Having caught the eye of a certain Miss Gaga, Alex’s work has found it’s way into the pages of fashion’s finest, i-D included of course. On Friday, he’ll be working his magic on a new illustration right before our very eyes; pencils, paint and his trademark tape in plentiful supply we’ve been told to expect something very special indeed! Filling the bill, pal Hannah Holland will be providing background sounds to keep Alex bopping and jotting! A pretty dastardly duo, hop-up to the pop-up on Friday afternoon and expect feasts for your eyes and ears!

UPCOMING DATES: BATTY BASS @ XOYO - 30th SEPT

Alex Noble in Love Magazine

Alex Noble, the man behind Lady Gaga’s white lace catsuit at the Brits last year - which she now proudly wears at Hollywood’s Madame Tussauds - is a bit of a creative do-it-all. As if dressing Gaga wasn’t enough to keep him busy - she wears his creations in the videos for Bad Romance and Judas amongst other things - he is now designing seasonal collections, illustrating for Decoy Magazine, collaborating on music label Batty Records, and on September 7th, the doors open to the new exhibition at Dalston Superstore which he is co-curating. You’d think he’d be run off his feet, but he’s not too busy to talk to LOVE.
